Oh, our hotel (Holiday Inn Shifu) is fantastic! Our room is HUGE. We have a mammoth bathroom with a huge jacuzzi tub, huge separate shower room, huge bedroom, large living room, and TONS of closet and drawer space. I am so glad we chose to stay here. Our breakfast this morning was so elaborate...we had scrambled eggs, bacon, omelettes, cantaloupe, watermelon, pastries, and Rupert also had congee and boiled veggies with noodles. Can't wait to see Aaron when he sees all this food! The table we sat at was next to an indoor "stream" with fish in it. So neat! The area we are in is very Chinese compared to Shamian Island. We LOVE it. We are going to exchange our money at 11 and then walk to Shamian to buy a stroller and look around. Guangzhou Restaurant (Cantonese food) is very well known and we can see it from our hotel room window. Thanks to my friend Kristen for setting my blog to allow me to email my posts.
