Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Donovan woke up this morning, and as he walked towards our bedroom, he looked over the balcony, down to the living room below and said, "Mommy, I see eggs in the living room! The Easter Bunny came!" Yesterday he had hunted for eggs (hidden by Mommy) in the yard. He found all 25 eggs, each with a quarter inside. It seems the Easter Bunny must have run out of quarters, because today's with today's 25 eggs hidden inside some had quarters, and others had chocolate eggs, and even a couple had packages of fruit gummies :)
My mom is on her way to spend Easter with us. When she arrives, she is going to say, "Donovan, have you been outside yet? You're not going to believe what is in the driveway!" Donovan is getting a two wheel bike (16 inch, with training wheels).
This is certainly an Easter weekend we will never forget - gorgeous weather (80 yesterday!), spending time outside with Donovan, and making the final preparations for our China trip, and getting things organized for Donovan and my mom while they are here. And...I'm teaching tomorrow! It's my last day. I'll be off until next January.
Yesterday was so gorgeous. We put up the screen doors, hooked up the hoses, finished pumping the water off the top of the pool cover, got the summer toys out (water table, bikes, etc.).
For us, the month of April will fly by. We're gone the 6th through the 23rd.
