I. Am. So. Behind. With. Blogging....

This year we are staying home over April vacation. Looks like it is going to be a cold, rainy week. Luckily, we had our mulch delivered Thurday evening, and first thing Saturday morning, (7:30 am) we were outside (boys in the sandbox and hunting for worms for Daddy's garden under rocks)and got all of it spread before the rain arrived. Lots of indoor projects for over vacation, a few playdates, appointments, but most of all, just planning to enjoy time with my two favorite boys.
I went last night to get photos developed to get caught up on my scrapbooking for the boys...Um...280 photos...YIKES! That's a lot of scrapbooking ahead of me. Realistically, I'll try to get Donovan's scrapbook up to date over this April vacation, and then Aaron's as soon as school gets out in June.
As for updating this blog...here are a few things that have been going on...

Not much snow this winter, but when we could, we went sledding. The boys LOVE to sled.

Donovan outgrew his toddler bed. Here he is with his new bed.

All cozy in his new bed.

Donovan and Aaron napping together in Donovan's bed.

Before a birthday party for a classmate of theirs from preschool. It was held at a local gymnastics facility. The boys had a fabulous time!

Aaron with the boys' gift for their classmate. It was Aaron's first time at the gym, and he loved it.

Aaron getting ready to run on the "bumpy road" and jump into the "foam pit." Tons of fun!

Aaron hanging (happily) on the bars.

Aaron swinging.

Donovan really swinging!

Donovan on the rings. (And yes, for those of you who recall that Donovan is prone to Nursemaid's elbow - meaning his elbows dislocate easily, I was saying a prayer that they would not dislocate at the birthday party!! All was fine :) )

Our first hike of the season, around Indian Brook Reservoir. The boys had so much fun!

Stopping for a picnic lunch.

Donovan with the new scooter the Easter Bunny brought him.

more photos to come soon...
